OurGreenways was selected as a title when we formed as a small voluntary in 2018.
We wanted it to be about us in OUR COMMUNITY
and we wanted to protect Greenways –
green ways, where we can walk and relax with nature and our green surroundings,
green ways of thinking about our environment in general, our neighbourhood, and reducing waste, and encouraging healthy living, growing food, and so on
We picked the name and then discovered , as in the picture of an old map, that the name had been used previously on an old Teesside map
